Library is the nerve centre of the school. IPS believes that ‘Knowledge is not power, it is only potential power that becomes real through use. “Reaching out of all forms of print media, the library is adequately stacked with reference books, periodicals, journals & magazines for the user’s need. There are more than 10,000 books on different subjects. which cater the needs of all the students & staff. Library periods have been allocated in the time-table to enable the students to get books issued regularly.
Well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English And Mathematics Labs have been set up to help & ensure better understanding of the concepts and develop the power of reasoning.
These days education through computers is the need of the hour. Well equipped two computer labs have been set up to impart theoretical and practical knowledge of computers.
Realising that music is the soul of life, knowledge of music & its training under the guidance of a trained instructor with latest instruments such as Tabla, Harmonium, Guitar and Keyboard etc is made available to the students. Various forms of dances including classical & folk are taught to the students under the guidance of an expert teacher.
To develop creativity, aesthetic sense and imagination amongst students painting, clay moulding, rangoli, fabric painting etc. are taught in the school in a well equipped art and craft room. A highly qualified staff has been appointed to explore the talent of the students.
Highly informative programmes are organised by various reputed institutes to apprise the students of Senior Secondary Classes with various career opportunities in the service sector.
“If health is lost, every thing is lost”. Keeping the importance of health in view, the school provides excellent health facility to its students. There is a separate medical room where qualified doctor /nurse looks after the general health of the students. Regular Medical & Dental checkup of the students is conducted from time to time. A full time nurse attends to all the ailments and injuries of the students.
