Road Safety Seminar 2024

“Drive as if every person on the street is a dear friend or a close family member.” To create awareness among the students on the importance of road safety, an awareness programme was organized for Grade-9 at International Public Sr.Sec.School , Sandhu Nagar, Ludhiana. The event was graced by Honourable Mr. Manjeet Singh,Govt.Resource person and Mr. Avtar Singh (A.S.I). Mr. Manjeet Singh acquainted the students with traffic rules and importance of road etiquettes.He stressed the use of ISI-marked helmets, and fastening seat belts besides following safe pedestrian norms. Mr. Avtar Singh (ASI) urged the students to spread the road safety rules among their near and dear ones. Principal,Mrs.Sheetal Nathaniel appreciated the Traffic Police Department for taking up the initiative of creating a law-abiding society. She wished that such drives should be encouraged more so that upcoming generations can learn to create safe zone for themselves and others.The workshop helped to spread mindfulness and motivate the participants to be traffic ambassadors who shall further spread the message of obeying traffic rules and ensuring road safety .
